Recipe: Kombucha Cocktail
Naughty but Nice!
When there’s cause for celebration, we love using our Kombucha as a cocktail mixer!
Our sparkling fermented tea is perfect for adding some fizz and flavour to a drink without the sugar or nasty additives you find in traditional soft drinks.
This fun and fresh cocktail was developed by our friends at Sparkke, the progressive alcohol company who create all natural alcoholic drinks that also raise funds and awareness for important social issues.
Introducing the ‘Naughty but Nice’ – a beautiful blend of MOJO Classic Kombucha Raspberry Passion and Sparkke’s Wine + Bubbles with a dash of vanilla essence, sugar syrup (if you prefer a sweeter taste), fresh mint and raspberries!
Not only is our nourishing kombucha a nice alternative to other mixers but by adding alcohol to your MOJO, you do not loose any of the probiotic goodness that is thriving in our live sparkling beverages – bonus!
Sparkke’s Wine + Bubbles is made in McLaren Vale, South Australia (just down the road from MOJO!) and has a “fuller, fruit driven taste with a dry finish and a nice lemon sherbert acidity”. Combine that to the tart sweetness of our Raspberry Passion Classic Kombucha, and you’ve got a delicious fruity, fizzy cocktail! We recommend enjoying this one on a hot summer’s day.
Ingredients (makes a 300mL serve)
- 210mL Sparkke White Wine + Bubbles
- 75mL MOJO Classic Raspberry Kombucha
- 3 mL Vanilla Essence
- 12 mL Sugar Syrup (optional)
- Fresh Mint
- Fresh or frozen Raspberries
Method
Pour Sparkke White Wine + Bubbles, a splash of MOJO Classic Raspberry Kombucha, a dash of vanilla essence and sugar syrup into a glass of crushed ice. Serve with mint leaves and raspberries for a summer treat!
