Mega MOJO Fan: Caitlin Bassett
Caitlin Bassett, the captain of the Australian Diamonds, was a fan of our kombucha long before MOJO officially started supporting her in early 2018.
The West Australian native also plays in the Suncorp Super Netball competition for the Sunshine Coast Lightning and is a former ANZ Championship player for the West Coast Fever.
Caitlin has been Goal Shooter for many victorious teams, winning gold in the World Championships Singapore 2011 and again at Sydney 2015 as well as taking home the gold medal for the Glasgow Commonwealth Games in 2014.
Off the court, Caitlin studies broadcasting and journalism and fuels her MOJO by hitting one of her local beaches on the Sunny Coast, catching up with friends or hunting for the perfect coffee. Caitlin knows this downtime is essential, “feeling it important to stay mentally refreshed rather than being completely absorbed by netball”.
Caitlin is all for working on her mental as well as physical strength. An increasing number of studies link gut health to mood and mental wellbeing, which is why probiotics and fermented foods such as MOJO can assist in supporting a healthy mind in addition to immunity and muscle recovery.
The other thing we love about C-Bass is she understands balance is key, eating healthily to stay on top of her game but still enjoying her favourite cupcakes when she feels like it.
Caitlin’s MOJO of choice is the Classic Kombucha Strawberry Hibiscus or Perfect Passionfruit, although the MOJO Probiotic Sparkling Water range has quickly become another one of her go-tos.
