Meet Australia’s most awarded Kombucha!
We’re proud as punch to announce that MOJO products have won four medals in the prestigious Sydney Royal Fine Food Awards in the inaugural kombucha category!
MOJO won two silver (for its MOJO Classic – Perfect Passionfruit, and MOJO Classic – Ginger Tonic) and two bronze medals (for MOJO Classic – Raspberry Passion, and MOJO Crafted – Strawberry Hibiscus) in the Herbal Tea & Infusions category.
“This is the first time a kombucha maker has been recognised in the Sydney Royal Fine Food Awards and we couldn’t be more excited,” MOJO CEO Anthony Crabb said.
“We dominated the kombucha category which is fantastic recognition of the work we pour into ensuring our kombucha is fermented according to traditional processes, at the highest quality standards.
“We already knew kombucha was growing in popularity in Australia but the addition of a kombucha class to these awards is yet another sign that Australia is embracing our products.”
MOJO pioneered the Kombucha category in Australia. Founder Anthony Crabb began handcrafting home batches in 2009. After perfecting his brew, Anthony, with the help of wife Sarah, embarked on a mission to take kombucha to the people, beginning with an esky at the local farmers market.
Today, the small MOJO team continues to handcraft kombucha using the same SCOBY which MOJO started with, and MOJO is sold throughout 4000 outlets Australia wide.
MOJO is the only kombucha on the Australian market to have quantifying proven probiotics on pack, with an exclusive probiotic strain that survives the journey from mouth to stomach to optimise the drink’s gut-health benefits.
Hosted by the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW, the Sydney Royal Fine Food Awards aims to promote Excellence in Agriculture amongst all industry stakeholders. Winners are selected by a judging panel of industry specialists.
