TURMERIC – The hype is true: turmeric contains Vitamin B6, C and K, Niacin, Manganese, Iron, Potassium and Magnesium. All this goodness can help to boost cognitive function, reduces stress and anxiety, improves digestion, maintains healthy heart function, reduces inflammation, relieves fatigues as well as menstrual pain and cramps.
CARROT – We were all told to eat carrots for good eyesight as children, and for good reason! Carrots contain beta-carotene, the precursor to Vitamin A, which assists with healthy vision. They also contain a good dose of Vitamin C, K, E, Biotin, Potassium and B vitamins. As well as eyesight, carrots have been shown to maintain and improve cardiovascular health.
GINGER – A warming ingredient that has an array of health benefits, from easing symptoms of digestive distress, reducing nausea and morning sickness, relieving swelling or pain and assisting the body’s natural inflammatory response.
